What is old us new again

We have been here before. We are in yet another Dumb Timeline. The Dumbest Timeline of the possible outcomes we had to choose from. At this point, it needs to play itself out.

I give them credit: Donald Trump and his backers did it. They convinced the people to vote for the Leopards who will eat their faces.

We can only hope that people will realize it. Like those in the United Kingdom realized that Brexit was going to be bad for them after they voted for it. Of course, then it was too late to fix it. We are on a similar path here in the United States.

You can say there were many reasons the US election of November 2024 went the way it did, but one thing is for certain: it will not be pretty for many of the supporters of Trump and the GOP. It will be even worse for those in minority and marginalized populations.

May God have mercy on our souls.
